So for the missions i had the idea just basically do 1 of so many things, and its sorted by how early in the game it is to.

Start:
Cargo Missions
Escourt Missions
Prisoner Transort

Later:
Defence Missions
Cargo Missions
Escourt Missions
Diplomatic Missions
Prisoner Transport

Late Game:
Attack Missions
Defence Missions
Cargo Missions
Escourt Missions
Diplomatic Missions
Prisoner Transport


So thats the basic guildline, now for the borg its just attack or assimilate, lol, and romulans have less diplomatic, and so forth.

Well from my research in Borg behavior They would want to fins out all information they can they would first try to find a suitable Ship/Planet then they would begin Assimilation Processing and will try to get information out of them, the borg also have patrols on there borders and can escort the queen places so hope some of this helps.

Romulans do have very huge Ambassadorial status, they use diplomacy or "Aggresive Negotiations" to get what they want, they will resort to drastic measures to Gain the "High Ground" in a certain Meeting, battle or just anything.

You could make the rest of the Cargo Trips either Hazardus Cargo and then the rest can be where you get attacked by a superior enemy and have to

A. Destroy Him

B. Run

C. Dump The Cargo

well i'm going to need an overall game plot so i know what to put in the missions.

Ok so the overall game plot is, its the mirror universe, um.............

Well the borg are trying to take over the alpha quadrent, but they dont come in untill alot later, ok basically im trying to make a Fusion between the Bridge Commander Formatt, and Armada 1 Story.

So this is the story.

The Dominion War ended recently, and the borg are discovered trying to take over, a ship from the future comes to the past and warns of an impending borg attack, meanwhile the Romulans are trying to capture an Omega Particle, under the Command of Sela you obtain an Omega Particle from the Ferengi, then you must pass therough klingon space with it and bla bla bla, yeah, the borg start chasing you, meanwhile the Klingons are at war with the Romulans and Duras, Worf who will be the commander will have multiple battles with him, bla bla bla, then the borg meanwhile are wiping out outer colonies, then it gets more intense, then the borg and the romulans make an alliance to destroy the klingons and get omega, but the borg turn on the romulans, the Crippled Romulans and Klingons form a small joint fleet along with some other NPC Factions like Ferengi, Cardassian, and Bajorin people that were harmed by the borg, they make a joint fleet, and here is were the final Mission for all 4 factions come in, the Klingons, Romulans, and Humans fight the borg Invasion fleet, OR you are the borg fighting them, yeah, thats the basic idea.

ok i should be done with the missions in a few days or so.

I need to ask do you start as an ensign or something and work your way up to captain?

I think he said in the geniral idea section that you start as a captain of your own ship.

You start as a Lt. Commander actually doing shuttle runs in your small Class 9 Shuttle (if your the federation)

If your a Lt. Commander your not gonna be doing Shuttle Runs, your gonna be Commanding you own Star ship (like a 5 deck ship) or 1st officer on an Akira or Intrepid

Well you would be doing that along with other type of missions as well would you not?

Dont get your hopes up, its quite hard to code.

I kinda want to change the mission idea alittle bit, if you fail a mission you go to another mission, that is set, altimetly they all lead to the same ending mission, but if you fail multiple missions, yeah, you will have less credits and stuff to mess around with.

Ok new story.

The Borg have invaded the Alpha Quadrent, ok, that stays the same, HOWEVER, its changed, the missions now play out in an order, you play as Federation, Romulan, Klingon, Borg, then you choose wich ship from the campeign you want to do the final mission in.

Federation Campeign: a ship from the Future comes back in time and warns the Federation of their impending doom, but this ship is romulan, the Federation captures this romulan ship thinking this is just a ploy, they still build up a small fleet in defence just in case it was true,

Romulan Campeign: meanwhile the Romulan Empire is under sevear attack by the borg, the Klingons are awear of this but havent told the federation yet, the Romulan Empire is ultimetly cripled and your ship gets sent back in time to warn the Empire of their impending doom, but you end up in federation space, this is to answer the question of why a romulan ship ended up in federation space.

Klingon Campeign: Ok, Meanwhile all this is happening the Klingons are under attack by the borg after the Romulans are defeated, The Klingons Finially Contact the federation, they join up to start making a fleet of ships in secret.
-Side note: the Tal'Shiar makes contact with the Cardassians and they form a small fleet, then they assult both the borg and the klingons, this is soemthing you will deal with in the campeign, you will also encounter Bajorin and Ferengi Ships that join their cause, the borg ignore this, they finially send a fleet to the federation, this starts the Borg Campeign

Borg Campeign: The Borg are finially in the alpha Quadrent, they have assimilated many ships, many worlds, many lives, you now play as the borg Queen, leading assults, the borg campeign is difforent in the sence that you are provided a powerful ship to start with, and you cant change ships, you are tasked with assimilating many ships, you finially take your giant fleet to sector 001 in an attempt to assimilate Starfleet and the Entire Human Race.

This leads to another part of the Federation Campeign, seeing the Iminent Doom, the Federation brings the Romulan Resistance and the Klingon Empire together, you fight the borg, but the borg inebitally reach sector 001.

Now you get to choose if you want to be Romulan (you end up on your last Romulan Ship) Klingon (You end up on your last Klingon Ship) Federation (You end up on your last Federation Ship) or Borg (you fight in the Borg Queens Ship) in this battle you will encounter your other ships, they will be AI controled, like if you pick federation, you will fight along side your klingon ships and your romulan ships, and the borg queen ship, thats an example, whoever wins, wins the game, If you loose sector 001, their will be a closure point, it will say something like

"Earth has been assimilated, the Federation is now Cripled, the Klingons and the Romulans are of no use, whats next, the borg will assimilate the Gamma Quadrent"

That will end, and below their will be a button that says Return to the main menu.

If you click on it, thats what will happen, HOWEVER, if you click the words Gamma Quadrent, you will be sent to the Easter Egg Dominion Campeign, "your small fleet of ships has lost, you and your fleet of Romulan, Cardassian, Ferengi, Klingon, and Federation ships has left for the gamma quadrent, their only hope is the Dominion" this opens the dominion campeign were you fight to stop the borg and retake Earth, HOWEVER if you WIN and dont loose earth, you take part in the Borg Easter Egg Campeign by clicking the words Delta Quadrent in the place were it says "You have won the borg are retreating to the delta quadrent", you have created a Transwarp Time Portal, you are tasked to go back in time to the Time of the NX CLass Enterprise, you will encounter the Enterprise, you are tasked with Assulting the Alpha Quadrent wich will bring like 4 missions, you will be on 4 Giant Maps, you assult the Romulans, Klingons, Federation, and then Cardassians in this, then when this ends, it will say "You have conquered the Alpha Quadrent, now all you need to do is construct an Interplexing Beakin to contact the borg of this century to come claim their prise."

and it ends.

This will be the forshadowing for the next Starship Commander, wich will be Flash Trek, Starship Commander, Shadows of the Federation, in that one you will play as a Time Officer from the Federation stopping the borg and so on, or you will play as a Borg Ship that has survived the assult by the borg, you and the Queen ow retreat to the badlands to build up a fleet and try again, this time battling ships from the 25th century.

But thats later stuff.

So yeah, can you make missions for that?

Oh man.. This is actually incredibly clever. Borg missions can be just basically assimilating planets that the klingons, romulans and federation have. Federation missions can be to destroy as many borg ships and take as many Romulan & Klingon planets as you can. As for Romulans you have to sneek past borg and klingon bases to travel back in time. And the Klingons have to fight off the borg and retake fed.rom systems.

this is the beginning of the game. The starters. After completing these if you romulan you fight the borg.

I cant promise these coming soon im afraid. Ive got alot of work to do today that i should have done yesterday but the power was off so yeh... I'll see what i can do.

Once you finish the Federation part, it automatically takes you to the Romulan Campeign or something like that, use the order of missions i posted, but this is an example, on the menu its one button, new game, or load game, and options, new game starts you in the Federation part of the campeign, when that part ends you keep going like normal missions, but you will be romulan, and klingon and borg to, it all depends on how it turns out .

Note: This will be incredibly complex to program.....so dont exspect a pre-alpha for atleast another year, i would estimate that in 1-2 years the alpha comes out, and in 3-4 years beta, then in 5 years the final version will be released.

well idk when ill have time to make the missions but ill try find some time

Well EP dosen't really have an Attention Span of 1-2 years, so i give him a few months before he gives up.
