Odins Fury

Captain Jeffrey Gibbs.
UNSC Odins Fury, UNSC Destroyer.
2535, September 4th.
Deep space – 14:42 SST.

The Black armor, was dark as space it's self, hiding its battle scars, the only light coming from a room which just happened to have it's light on, it's engines give a burst of light, as they slowly propelled, this badly damaged behemoth, to it destination, ware it would likely be it's final resting place.

Suddenly a great flash of light appeared, almost like space was being ripped apart, atom by atom, well that was what was happening, as a Covenant Destroyer jumped right in front of the ship. “All hands Battle Stations!” Gibbs yelled over the intercom. An orb of white light could be seen emitting from the destroyers belly, “Well Captain, it seems that the success of the Odin has come to an end” an female officer said as she turned back to her console “Shall I even fire a MAC round at them” she replied, knowing full well of her, and the ships impending doom.

“The past two weeks we've tried to avenge the colonists, but now we are the ones who need avenged.” Gibbs said as he lay back in his chair. The Destroyers Energy projectors was about to fire, when the ships A.I. Odin, came online.

he was dressed like Odin was in Norse legend, like an God.

“Captain, I can make a some what precise Slip Stream jump, to escape the Beam.” the A.I. Said rather calmly as the beam Fired. “Odin! DO IT NOW!” The Captain yelled and he and the crew braced onto there seats, the ship slipped away, due to it's heavily damaged state, the Fury had traveled no more than a one-third of a point of a light year, but it was enough to escape the beam.

“Odin can we Even win this?... or even escape” Gibbs asked as the crew tired, not hear his answer. “I may be named after a God, but I’m not one” Odin replied, Gibbs even breaking a Smile. “Ware is the nearest UNSC sensor net, Odin.” Gibbs asked.

“We would reach Beta Gabriel at our current speed in Five-years, Elven Months, Twelve-days and Four-hours. If we used our limited Slip Steam Twenty-days, only problem is that destroy-

“Yes I noticed that.” Gibbs interrupted, as he watched on the tactical display, it was two-hundred and fifty-thousand kilometers away, “If we wait, till it reaches Fifty thousand kilometers, We could give that *****, an Alpha Strike to remember, then...we get the hell outta dodge" the female officer butted in.

“Sounds like a plan” Gibbs said rather happily. "I have planned our attack plan, this will be an Glorious battle, it shall be worthy of the Odin's Fury. " said Odin, he mumbled his battle plan to him self, he did that after planning it, likely an sign of his impending Rampancy.
