Re: Star Trek Games
Well IIRC you have a site computer, so bridge Commander, it has a massive Modding community, STO will Rape your computer, But the game started out pretty bad, but the Cryptic team that does STO came under new leadership, and many issues were addressed making the game alot more playable, but i hear it's still crap thou.
The other two are just poor excuse for games, and shouldn't even bear the name Star Trek.

Unless you got a Much better Computer. Then you can get STO, and wait for Star Trek Excalibur

Re: Star Trek Games
Excal is a Free version of Bridge Commander, basically the same game, but Infinitely better. I think it's slated for release in 2013, after 7 years of Development

Well I can't remember the Specifics, but Every year for the last 355 years, we've been skipping one day, so if you add those days, were actually in 2012

Re: Star Trek Games
oh lols, mt friend at school asked me if I think we'll be over in 2012 and then I said no, as I think the sun will expand and come too close and eradiate the planet killing us and then the planet will blow up (similar theory to superman lol)
Re: Star Trek Games
nah 2012 has got a religious and scientiffic side too it.
Aparently something called galactic alignment is gonna happen which will reverse the earths poles causing the magno field around earth to weaken and at exactly the same time the sun will have a solar flare and the earths power grid will be knocked out for up to 10 years and we all die.
Seems pretty unlikely but i always aproach stuff like this with an open mind.

Re: Star Trek Games
also this polar shift will cause the mantel to move independantly to teh crust causiong earthquakes and volcanos however if this moves slowley then we'll get a few of those and then we'll be fine but its if it moves quickley that the dangers there.
In my opinion its moviong slow i mean just look at all the earthquakes and stuff like thats happened over late 2009 and 2010 and early 2011.

Ok Dark There's no need to Lock a topic, just because it's off Topic, going off-topic can keep the Topic alive, and Alive topic means an active forum.

Re: Star Trek Games
just as long as it dosent go to off topic like talking about the price of biscuits or something
Re: Star Trek Games
And it probably will never lead to that, anyway it is quit interesting on how the earth works in that way
Re: Star Trek Games
if galactic alignment does kill us all we're going to get a great skyward view to end are lives. All the planets, sun, moon and stars in our part of the milky way will line up with the center of the galaxy which will look amazing from here on earth.
Re: Star Trek Games
One last view of the universe before we all die wow that would be nice, as the doctor said, the end of the world coming out a Mobile Phone lol
Re: Star Trek Games
the other theory is the algnment will overide thesuns gravity causing all the planets to run out of orbit and slam into each other which would be like planet marbles (:
